The Costa Brava blossoms in spring and at Brava Hoteles we’re waiting for you to experience each activity at your own pace. Whether as a couple, with friends or as a family, we have the perfect accommodation for you: hotels with spas, flats by the sea and personalised attention to make you feel at home.
Enjoy spring and combine nature, sea, wellness and culture, just a few steps away from our hotels or flats
1. Hike along the Camí de Ronda (coastal hiking trail) between bays and cliffs, or take on a climbing tour
Spring is the perfect time for a leisurely stroll. The Camí de Ronda, which connects beaches and coves between Sant Feliu, S’Agaró and Platja d’Aro, offers spectacular panoramas, tranquillity and a unique connection to the sea.
A walk between pine forests, golden rocks and turquoise waters that invites you to pause, breathe and feel. And best of all: no crowds and no rush.
And if you fancy a little more thrill, try the ‘Cala del Molí’ via ferrata, an adventure between cliffs overlooking the sea that will test your senses and reward you with an unforgettable panoramic view.
2. Diving, kayaking, paddle surfing or boat trips
Fancy a completely different experience? The Costa Brava can also be enjoyed from the water. In spring, you can go kayaking, canoeing, surfing, on boat trips or, if you dare, scuba diving. In Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Platja d’Aro, expert guides will take you to secret coves and caves that are not accessible from land.
One of the most important places for diving is the cove of Port Salvi, which is located next to the Eden Roc Hotel & Spa. This bay, which is directly accessible from the hotel, is perfect for snorkelling and diving thanks to its particularly lively seabed. The bay is also equipped with a swimming channel, making it ideal for both beginners and advanced divers. The diving centre C.A.S. Varadero Dive, located next to the hotel, offers dives for all levels, scuba diving, recreational diving courses and technical diving.
3. Discover the charm of Sant Feliu de Guíxols
Quiet streets, historic facades and a seafront promenade that invites you to linger over a drink. Sant Feliu is an ideal destination for strolling, visiting the Benedictine monastery (Monestir Benedictí), discovering exhibitions at the ‘Espai Carmen Thyssen’ or simply letting yourself be carried away by the local and relaxed atmosphere.
Small markets, exhibitions and the ‘Porta Ferrada’ music festival also take place in spring and summer, filling the squares with life and culture.

4. Make a detour to the ‘Temps de Flors’ in Girona
Just 30 minutes away by car, the city of Girona blossoms every year in May with the ‘Temps de Flors’ festival. For days on end, the streets, courtyards and monuments are filled with floral art, creative installations and cultural activities that amaze locals and visitors alike.
The old town becomes a vibrant art gallery where colour, design and nature are in balance. This year, the festival takes place from 10 to 18 May and is a perfect day trip from the coast.
If you are interested in photography, culture or simply unique moments, you can’t miss it.
5. Treat yourself to wellness at the seaside
Spring is also the time for a break. At Brava Hotels we take care of every detail so that you can enjoy a relaxing holiday.
Enjoy our seafront spas at Cap Roig Hotel & Spa or Eden Roc Hotel & Spa, with exclusive treatments, heated pools, water landscapes and areas where you can unwind. Because taking care of yourself also means travelling. And with us, wellness begins with a view of the sea.
